THE HOUSE turns blue

After two long years of dirty dealings from the people with all the power, we’re gaining a bit of clout We won’t be able to make big changes yet with just one branch of government, but now that we have the House…we can INVESTIGATE.  @nowthispolitics shared a video with a list of what the Dems plan to look into. The list put a smile on my face and I hope it does on yours.

Trump’s tax returns, firing of FBI chief, Jim Comey, mass firing of U.S. attorneys & the ‘cleaning out’ of career federal employees.

Trump’s family businesses potentially profiting from foreign governments,   receiving trademarks from China and use of his nonprofit for self-dealing.

W. H. staff’s use of personal email & servers. Cabinet officials’ travel, office expenses, uses of charter flights & other misused perks & incomplete security clearance forms.

Trump’s ban on transgender military service members.

DHS’s family separation policy at the border.

“Dirty ops” on Obama staff by Israeli intel firm Black Cube.

Payments to silence Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal.

Dismissals from EPA’s board of scientific counselors and EPA’s failure to fulfill Freedom of Information Act requests.

The citizenship question added to the 2020 census.

The Justice Dept’s refusal to defend the ACA.

HHS, DOJ and Homeland Security’s alleged gag order on whistle blowers.

HHS collaboration with right-wing group on Medicaid family planning policy.

Jared Kushner’s ethics law compliance and dirty dealings.

Cambridge Analytica’s undisclosed hiring of foreign nationals and contacts with foreign governments.

Foreign efforts to breach state election systems during the 2016 election.

Discussions of classified info at Mar-a-Lago &what Trump told  Putin in their hours-long summit.

There’s more, but this is a taste of what we might see in 2019. Yes, it’s been a long two years, and we’re going to need every blue and purple hand out there to change things. But tomorrow, the House turns blue. Let’s make the most of it @blueravenartist
